A wedding in Bilbeis, Egypt, turned into a crisis when 25 attendees suffered severe stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrohea, resulting in their admission to a nearby hospital.
According to reports, all attendees fell ill with food poisoning after consuming a meal prepared at a local restaurant.
While many guests were treated for mild symptoms, several required more intensive care, including gastric lavage (stomach pumping).
Fortunately, most patients have since been discharged, and those remaining in the hospital are reported to be in stable condition.
An investigation has been launched into the restaurant.
