DARTS – BAHRAINI darts stars Abdulla Saeed and Basem Mahmood will be part of the high-profile cast of competitors in the 2026 edition of the Bahrain Darts Masters, Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday.
The kingdom’s darts spectacle is scheduled for January 15 and 16, taking place at its new venue, Terminal 4 by Beyon at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), and it will see eight of the world’s biggest icons in the game take on eight regional representatives, which will include Saeed and Mahmood.
The Bahraini pair secured their berths in the event for the second straight year after finishing as the top two players in a national qualifying competition. It will be their third appearances in the history of the Bahrain Darts Masters, with Saeed having also competed in the 2024 event and Mahmood in 2023, to go along with their participation last year.
Saeed and Mahmood join a current list of five Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) legends who are already confirmed for the two-day extravaganza. They include the new world champion and global star Luke “The Nuke” Litter, English darts legend and Bahrain Darts Masters defending champion “The Bullet” Stephen Bunting, three-time former world champion “Mighty” Michael van Gerwen from the Netherlands, 2021 world champion “The Iceman” Gerwyn Price from Wales, and 2024 world champion “Cool Hand” Luke Humphries from England.
The Bahrain Darts Masters is organised by BIC, the PDC, and sports promoter CBX, and is supported by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.
Tickets for the event are still available to the all-new Bahrain Darts Masters Grandstand, but fans must act fast and purchase theirs at the soonest to avoid missing out on one of the most highly sought-after occasions in the new year.
All tables, including Premium and VIP areas for the 2026 Bahrain Darts Masters, have already completely sold out, but darts enthusiasts can still experience the magic of the game at the Bahrain Darts Masters Grandstand, which offers an incredible view of the stage, as well as close access to food and beverage areas at the venue.
