Adviser to His Majesty King Hamad for cultural and scientific affairs Hala Al Ansari visited the Hawa Al Manama festival.
During the visit, Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority chief executive Sara Buhiji briefed Ms Al Ansari on the cultural and interactive programmes designed to offer an integrated tourism experience for citizens, residents and visitors.
Ms Al Ansari toured the museums and exhibitions showcasing various aspects of Manama’s history and social life. She praised the event’s high level of organisation and its creative approach to presenting the city’s historical heritage and stressed the significance of such festivals in preserving national identity, promoting cultural awareness and connecting the past with the present through engaging, interactive experiences.
