GOLF – THE 2026 Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship is set to welcome the kingdom’s community to the Royal Golf Club from January 29 to February 1 for four days of world-class golf, live entertainment, and unforgettable experiences – with free general admission for all.
The tournament offers something for everyone – from the thrill of watching DP World Tour stars battle for the trophy to soaring 100 metres above the course on a zip line.
DP World Tour Middle East championships head Freddie Schmeisser commented: “The Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship has quickly become one of the most welcoming events on our calendar, and we’re excited to offer even more ways for the community to enjoy it in 2026.
“With free general admission, the new Ticket+ Brunch experience, and a Championship Village full of entertainment for all ages, there really is something for everyone.
“We want families and friends across Bahrain to come together, enjoy world-class golf, and make lasting memories – whether they’re here for the sport or simply a great day out.”
This year, fans can tailor their championship experience with a range of ticket options.
General admission to all four days of the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship is completely free. All those interested in attending can register via Platinum List to secure their place.
Also on offer is Ticket+ starting from BD15, where fans can enjoy exclusive access to the Clubhouse Repartee Bar and its designated terrace, offering prime views overlooking the 18th green and fairway. Food and beverages are available to purchase.
New for the 2026 event is the Ticket+ Brunch from BD55. Available on January 30 and 31, this package combines tournament access with an unlimited BBQ buffet and a selection of beverages from 12pm to 4pm. The action can be watched from the Ticket+ terrace with its stunning views of the 18th green. Only a limited number of tickets are available for each day so fans must act quickly before they sell out.
For the ultimate premium experience, the Championship Chalet offers all-day hospitality with panoramic views of the 18th fairway and green. Starting from BD110, guests can enjoy morning coffee and a full breakfast, a premium lunch buffet with live cooking stations, afternoon refreshments, and complimentary beverages throughout the day. The air-conditioned chalet features a spacious dining area, outdoor viewing terrace, complimentary Wi-Fi, and reserved VIP parking. This facility is for guests aged 12 and over.
Beyond the fairways, the Championship Village transforms the Royal Golf Club into a festival atmosphere with entertainment for all ages. There is a 100-metre zip line, where participants can soar above the course in one of the event’s most thrilling attractions.
A kids’ zone with dedicated entertainment and activities will keep younger visitors engaged all day.
There will also be a traditional Bahraini souq, food trucks, shaded seating areas to relax and recharge, and big screens to follow all of the action.
