Bahrain called for a broad-based, constructive national dialogue among all Haitian parties, describing it as the most effective path to agreement on steps towards credible, transparent elections, stronger institutions and a return to stable democratic governance. Bahrain stressed that any political process must be led and owned by Haitians, with international support provided in full respect of Haiti’s sovereignty and independence .
