THE Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will conduct the ‘National Shield 2026’ drill from today until Wednesday, with the participation of the National Guard and the Interior Ministry across multiple governorates of the kingdom.
The drill is part of the BDF’s ongoing training programme aimed at enhancing combat and administrative readiness, developing leadership and command-and-control capabilities, refining defence plans and strengthening co-ordination and integration with the National Guard and Interior Ministry .
