Bahrain and Saudi Arabia yesterday explored new opportunities to elevate their historic relations, based on a shared vision for the future.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the historic nature of the relationship, which is underpinned by deep and wide-ranging multi-sectoral co-operation.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the continued progress and development of these ties when he met Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh.
The meeting took place as part of HRH Prince Salman’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
He attributed the growth in relations to the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH Prince Salman commended the efforts of the Saudi Crown Prince in advancing the partnership.
He noted the numerous agreements concluded through the Bahraini-Saudi Co-ordination Council, which have played a key role in strengthening the partnership.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, along with His Majesty’s wishes for Saudi Arabia and its people for continued growth and prosperity.
Prince Mohammed Bin Salman conveyed his greetings to His Majesty, as well as his wishes for Bahrain and its people for further progress and prosperity. The meeting also reviewed ways to further advance co-operation and discussed topics of common interest.
