His Majesty King Hamad yesterday attended the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington DC, praising it as an ‘extraordinary and pivotal’ opportunity to reconstruct Gaza and chart a new course for the Middle East.
Addressing the summit, the King emphasised that the initiative offers a historic chance ‘to transform the ruins of conflict into a landscape of security, aspiration, and hope for the Palestinian people’ .
