The Interior Ministry has issued an urgent public safety warning to all citizens and residents. The alert follows the sounding of sirens across the kingdom due to a reported hazard.
In its statement, the ministry urged the public to remain calm and proceed to the nearest safe location. To maintain public safety, residents are advised to avoid obstructing main roads unless it is strictly necessary.
The ministry added that further guidelines will be provided in due course to ensure the safety and security of the public.
The alert coincides with reports of strikes launched by Israel and the US against Iran. Meanwhile, the US and British Embassies in Bahrain have also issued advisories for their nationals to closely monitor and follow the guidance issued by Bahraini authorities.
