Students who have opted to attend in-person classes will attend schools today, in line with the Education Ministry’s update for schools and higher education institutions. Meanwhile, online learning will continue for students who prefer it under the current circumstances.
The Education Ministry had earlier announced an additional update to the educational process covering public and private schools, as well as higher educational institutions, to ensure the continuity of the current academic year while maintaining flexibility for students and parents.
The ministry also announced the resumption of school transport services for all students whose parents have chosen a return to in-person learning starting today, after confirming the readiness and maintenance of buses, the preparedness of transport staff and drivers, and the implementation of security standards to provide high-quality transportation services.
Designated waiting times for school buses in the morning are 6.10am for primary and intermediate levels, 5.55am for secondary students, and 5.45am for technical and vocational education as well as religious institutes across all levels.
