FOREIGN Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani received Fahad Mohammed Kardous Al Ameri, Ambassador of the UAE to Bahrain, at the ministry’s headquarters yesterday.
Both sides reviewed the longstanding ties and growing co-operation between the two nations. They discussed further enhancing bilateral relations in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad and UAE President Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to serve the mutual interests of both countries and their people.
Dr Al Zayani and Ambassador Al Ameri also exchanged views on current regional developments. Discussions focused on GCC’s efforts to maintain co-ordination and joint co-operation in response to the repercussions of Iranian aggressions against GCC states, ensuring the continued security and stability of the region.
