Bahrain’s humanitarian projects in the Gaza strip led by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, including the Bahrain Hospital and Bahrain Schools were discussed during a meeting held in Egypt.
RHF acting secretary-general Ebrahim Al Dossary visited the headquarters of UAE’s Operation Gallant Knight 3 in Al Arish, Egypt.
He met with Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Fawzia Zainal, as part of ongoing efforts to follow up on Bahrain’s international humanitarian initiatives.
During the meeting, Mr Al Dossary briefed the ambassador on Bahrain’s projects in the Gaza Strip, including the Bahrain Hospital and Bahrain Schools, as well as a number of other humanitarian initiatives.
He also highlighted the latest relief shipment dispatched to support those affected in the sector, and visited the UAE desalination plants in Rafah and the floating hospital in Arish.
He met with the UAE medical and administrative staff, as well as a number of patients.
The official affirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continuing its relief and development projects beyond Bahrain, contributing to alleviating the suffering of those in need and reinforcing Bahrain’s humanitarian presence at the international level.
The UAE launched the humanitarian operation in 2023 to support the people of Gaza with thousands of food aid delivered since then, mass weddings held and a floating hospital with 150-beds set up to help the Palestinians.
