Tributes have been pouring in for a six-year-old student from Indian School Bahrain who tragically died after falling from a second-floor window at his residence.
Derrick Jissmon, a Year Two pupil, was rushed to Salmaniya Medical Complex and admitted to the intensive care unit, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
He was the only son of his parents Jissmon and Aksa.
The school expressed its condolences in a message on Instagram, stating: "With profound sorrow, the management, staff and students of the Indian School express their deepest condolences on the sad demise of our beloved student, Derrick Joseph Jissmon of Class II. May the Almighty bless his soul and grant comfort and strength to his family during this difficult time," the school said in a post on Instagram.
