An initiative to encourage digital engagement and promote positive saving behaviour has been introduced by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB).
The Yalla Eidiya Campaign, which comes as part of the Yalla Family Banking proposition, combines one of Eid’s most cherished traditions, Eidiya, with practical money management through the NBB App.
Customers can create a dedicated Yalla Eidiya Pocket within the NBB app and save BD20 to qualify for a raffle where 20 winners will each receive BD50.
This gives families an engaging way to introduce children to the value of saving while adding a rewarding element to the Eid experience.
The campaign will run from May 25 to June 22, with the raffle draw scheduled to take place on July 5.
NBB Retail Banking chief executive officer Subah Al Zayani stated that the initiative enables children to clearly set their savings goals, easily track their progress, and strengthen their financial understanding, all within a safe and user-friendly digital environment.
“Saving can start with something as simple as Eidiya,” he said. “By going digital, our children can now easily develop financial awareness from an early age, boosting their confidence in managing their money in a fun and engaging way.”
