The Education Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) – Medical University of Bahrain, in the presence of Education Minister and Higher Education Council Board of Trustees Chairman Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma, RCSI Dublin president Professor Michael Kerin and RCSI Medical University of Bahrain president Prof Sameer Otoom.
The MoU was signed by Education Ministry’s director general of School Affairs Suha Saleh Hamada and vice chancellor and registrar of RCSI Dublin Prof Cathal Kelly.
Dr Juma said the agreement would strengthen co-operation between the ministry and the university in preparing secondary school students interested in pursuing medical and health related disciplines.
