In implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to compensate citizens affected by the malicious Iranian attacks that damaged a number of homes and vehicles, the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning have handed over a new batch of repaired homes in Sitra.
The homes were delivered after the completion of all technical and engineering works to repair the damage, in line with the approved implementation plan and within the established timeframe for addressing the impact of the attacks.
The Ministry of Works team said that the repair works included structural restoration, internal and external finishing works, as well as the repair of affected utilities and services. The work was carried out following comprehensive technical assessments by specialised engineering teams to ensure the homes were fully restored and met all technical and engineering requirements in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the repair and rehabilitation of the remaining damaged homes in accordance with the approved plan and in coordination with the relevant authorities, ensuring the timely completion of works and high-quality implementation in line with the directives to provide all necessary support and assistance to affected citizens.
Residents of Sitra expressed their sincere appreciation for the royal directives of His Majesty the King and the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They commended the swift response of the government authorities and the efforts made to complete the repair works within a short period, enabling their homes to be restored to their normal condition.
The residents also expressed their appreciation for the close follow-up and support provided throughout every stage of the process, from the assessment of the damage to the completion of repairs and handover.
They said this reflects the care afforded to citizens in the Kingdom of Bahrain and demonstrates the effective coordination among government entities, which has helped restore normal life and reassure the affected families.
