CLIMBING – Bahrain's climbers came away with a sensational golden double from the Dyno Boulder Jam 2026, a climbing competition held in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Muath Janahi captured the men’s open gold medal while Ammar Al Mahari topped the youth category.
Janahi delivered a standout performance at the event, qualifying for the finals as one of only six climbers to advance from a field of 59 competitors, and then securing his title in style.
The result followed his victory the week prior at another climbing competition in Riyadh, making it back-to-back wins for the Bahraini ace.
Al Mahari then won the youth division to add to the kingdom’s outstanding gold medal haul.
The Dyno Boulder Jam was held at Dyno’s climbing facility in Khobar in collaboration with the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation.
It brought together climbers from more than 10 nationalities, reflecting the sport’s growing appeal across the region.
