Bahrain has strongly condemned a Houthi missile attack on Saudi Arabia.
The Foreign Ministry called yesterday’s attack a dangerous escalation that represents a flagrant violation of international law which undermines regional security.
The ministry, in a statement, praised the efficiency of the Saudi air defences and their high vigilance in countering these attacks, which contributed to protecting lives and property.
Saudi Arabia earlier said it intercepted ballistic missiles fired at the country’s south by the Yemeni group after it accused Riyadh of striking an airport they control.
Saudi air defences ‘have dealt with a threat from ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia toward the southern region’, the spokesperson for a military coalition in Yemen said on X.
