Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Shaikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah, who is visiting Bahrain as part of ongoing security co-ordination between the two countries.
General Shaikh Rashid highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal ties, long-standing historical relations and shared vision that unite the two countries.
The minister expressed Bahrain’s pride in its close and distinguished relations with Kuwait, affirming the kingdom’s support for all measures undertaken by Kuwait to safeguard its security and stability.
For his part, the Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed his country’s support for the security measures adopted by Bahrain to preserve its security and reinforce its stability.
He also stressed Kuwait’s solidarity with the kingdom in confronting any threats to its security and stability, reflecting the long-standing historical ties between the two countries and their peoples.
The meeting reviewed ways to further strengthen security co-operation and discussed the latest regional and international developments, in support of security, stability, and enhanced joint Gulf security co-operation.
