Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received US Ambassador Stephanie Hallett.
Gen Shaikh Rashid highlighted the two countries’ commitment to strengthening co-operation, co-ordination and joint work, particularly in security co-operation and the exchange of expertise.
The minister commended the deep-rooted ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, and their continuous development across various domains.
The meeting reviewed bilateral security co-operation programmes and ways to enhance them, as well as several issues related to advancing joint security co-operation in support of the interests of the two countries.
Deputy Chief of Police Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa was also present on the occasion.
