His Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, attended the Bahrain Shield joint military exercise alongside Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
The exercise brought together personnel from the Mohammed bin Zayed Squadron, armed forces of the GCC member states, units from the Unified Military Command, and participants from Saudi Arabia .
