The Interior Ministry stated that the Coast Guard has announced a change to the work area of the 3D marine survey project being carried out by Bapco Energies within the territorial waters of Bahrain, starting yesterday for two months.
The Coast Guard called on all fishermen, seafarers and marine vessel users to exercise caution when sailing near the project area, comply with safe navigation speeds, avoid approaching or tampering with marine survey devices and equipment, and refrain from all types of fishing within the work area throughout the project implementation period.
It also urged them to adhere to the designated routes and instructions shown in the attached map.
The Coast Guard affirmed that compliance with these instructions and guidelines contributes to maintaining the safety of seafarers and ensures that project works are carried out efficiently and safely.
It called on everyone to co-operate and comply with the issued instructions in the public interest and to preserve maritime safety.
