Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei issued a decision on Thursday revoking the educational license of the Iranian Private School in Kuwait and ordering its closure, in accordance with laws regulating private education and in the public interest.
The Ministry of Education said in a statement that the decision cancels the school's renewed operating license and tasks the General Department of Private Education with implementing the closure procedures.
The ministry said the school must stop accepting new students starting with the 2026-2027 academic year, while parents of currently enrolled students will be notified to transfer their children to other schools before the school year begins.
It added that the decision is part of efforts to enforce regulations governing the private education sector, while ensuring students complete their transfer to other schools without disruption to their education.
