BOWLING – FATEMA Al Qattan and Salman Bader were crowned girls’ and boys’ champions, respectively, in the second edition of the academy tournament of the Bahrain Bowling Federation (BBF), played at Funland Centre’s lanes.
Fatema took first place amongst the girls where she was joined on the podium by runner-up Hajar Khaled and third-placer Noor Al Mahmood.
Amongst the boys, Salman was the victor ahead of Nasser Al Thawadi in second place and Salem Marzouq in third.
At the conclusion of play, the awards presentation was held. BBF official Waleed Al Darraj was on hand to give out the awards to both winners and participants, in the presence of other BBF officials.
The tournament was part of a series of events organised by the BBF for its academy players, aiming to provide a competitive environment that contributes to further developing their talent and therefore strengthening the base of the kingdom’s players.
