BAHRAIN has reaffirmed its commitment to create quality opportunities for its youth.
Yesterday’s Cabinet session, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praised Bahrain’s young talent, marking International Youth Day, observed annually on August 12.
The session commended the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting young people and nurturing youth talent.
The Cabinet approved several priority draft laws aimed at addressing development needs and benefiting Bahraini citizens.
The restructuring of several government entities to improve performance and increase efficiency also won the Cabinet’s approval.
The session reviewed and approved Bahrain’s Unified Final Account and the final results for fiscal year 2025.
The Cabinet noted the meeting held between His Majesty and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, expressing its appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to the King and the accompanying delegation during the visit. It wished Egypt and its people continued progress, security, prosperity, and development.
The Cabinet congratulated the winners of the 10th edition of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism, noting the award’s importance in promoting media excellence and creativity.
