Bahrain has expressed strong condemnation of an Iranian attack targeting a vessel affiliated with the UAE’s Adnoc while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
The attack is a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement yesterday.
The ministry affirmed the kingdom’s solidarity with the UAE in all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty.
It also affirmed that the security of the UAE is an integral part of the security of Bahrain.
