Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa yesterday met UN Under-Secretary-General and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Executive Secretary Dr Rania Al Mashat.
The minister affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to continuing efforts to advance development across various areas, support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and fulfil the aspirations and visions of His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He highlighted Bahrain’s continued efforts to strengthen co-operation and co-ordination with international institutions and organisations and benefit from the exchange of experiences, expertise and knowledge.
The meeting also discussed issues of common interest, reviewed areas of co-operation and explored opportunities to further strengthen them in support of shared aspirations and objectives.
