Kuwait's Ministry of Interior said it would terminate the exceptional procedures relating to the legal spans of time for entry permits and absence leaves as from September 1.
The automatic extension of entry permits for all forms of visits of foreigner residents in the country will end and relevant regulations will be restored on September 1, 2026, the ministry affirmed in a press release on Thursday.
The legal time allowed for absence leave will apply for foreign workers who left the country before August 31, according to the statement.
The ministry urged the expatriate workers to abide by the dates specified in their respective absence leaves.
