The Coastguard yesterday recovered the body of one of the two people who went missing after an incident at sea, the Interior Ministry announced in a statement.
The body of 41-year-old Isa Ahmed Mohammed was recovered near the Nurana coast in Salman City, after the Coastguard conducted a joint search operation in co-ordination with Police Aviation.
Search operations are ongoing for the second missing person.
The ministry noted that further details would be made available in due course.
