The Kingdom of Bahrain chaired the 65th Coordination Meeting of the Ministers of Labour of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, held in Cairo, with the participation of Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the League of Arab States.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of continuing coordination on labour-related issues of mutual interest, in a manner that strengthens the presence and positions of the GCC member states in relevant Arab and regional fora.
The meeting discussed a number of items on the agenda of the 52nd session of the Arab Labour Conference, scheduled to be held in Cairo from 13 to 20 September.
