Statement by Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Major General Turki Al-Malki: "The terrorist Houthi militia continues its heinous and deliberate attacks on civilian objects and civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The continuation of these deliberate and repeated attacks proves the terrorist Houthi militia's approach and extremist ideology of escalation and targeting civilian objects and civilians. Monday, September 14, 2026, the militia launched attacks on civilian objects in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif with a number of ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in minor to moderate injuries to 13 civilians and damage to seven houses and two vehicles.
The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will deal with these attacks responsibly and firmly to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom, civilian objects, and civilians from these heinous attacks, in accordance with Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, the principle of self-defence, and customary international humanitarian law.
The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will also take all necessary operational measures to deter this terrorist militia and confront its hostile and extremist approach."
