The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, visited Bahrain’s pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid was received by Minister of Tourism, Fatima Al Sairafi who noted that the visit reflects the historical ties between the two countries.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid was briefed on the pavilion’s showcase of Bahrain’s key tourism assets, destinations and experiences, as well as the initiatives and projects contributing to strengthening Bahrain’s position as a distinguished tourism destination at both the regional and international levels.
Al Sairafi affirmed that Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid's visit to the pavilion reflects the strong and longstanding relations between the two brotherly countries. She also highlighted the importance of the Arabian Travel Market in showcasing Bahrain’s tourism offerings, strengthening engagement with partners and representatives of the travel and tourism sector, and supporting greater GCC tourism cooperation and integration.
Bahrain’s participation in the event comes as part of its efforts to showcase the diversity of its tourism offerings, promote its destinations and tourism experiences, and strengthen engagement with representatives and experts from the global travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
