More than 2,000 people came together to celebrate the Indian harvest festival Onam, held by Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theatre at the Indian Club in Manama.
The event was organised in association with Star Vision and featured the traditional Onasadya (feast), served on a banana leaf.
Kerala Legislative Assembly deputy speaker Shanimol Osman attended as chief guest, along with other prominent personalities, including Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo director Waleed Ebrahim Kanoo, Amaad Group of Companies chairman and managing director Pambavasan Nair and GDN Media sales director Alison Lillywhite.
