Countries must promote regional security and international peace, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has said. Unified efforts also help achieve exceptional security outcomes in combating crime in all its forms, he told the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which began in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
The congress brings together around 5,000 ministers, senior officials, experts and specialists, as well as representatives of governments, international organisations and civil society, alongside representatives of academia, research institutions and youth from 97 countries.
