McLaren Bahrain has renewed its official partnership with the Royal Bahrain Concours ahead of the event’s highly anticipated second edition, set to take place at the Royal Golf Club in Riffa this November.
The agreement was formally sealed during an official signing ceremony in Bahrain, cementing a relationship established during the inaugural Royal Bahrain Concours in 2025.
Across the two-day event, McLaren Bahrain will maintain a dedicated presence featuring three display vehicles, giving visitors an up-close look at modern supercar performance alongside landmark collector automobiles drawn from Bahrain, the wider GCC, and international collections.
Organised by Thorough Events in partnership with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), the Royal Bahrain Concours brings classic and contemporary automotive craftsmanship together, bolstering the kingdom’s standing on the global calendar of premier luxury events.
The event’s 2025 debut brought together 70 exceptional collector cars, establishing a key regional gathering point for enthusiasts, collectors, and luxury brands.
Welcoming the marque back, Royal Bahrain Concours chairman James Brooks-Ward highlighted McLaren’s role in connecting automotive history with cutting-edge design: “McLaren was part of our inaugural event, so it is a real pleasure to welcome the team back for 2026. Today’s signing marks the continuation of a relationship we are very pleased to have established in Bahrain. A great concours should celebrate the full story of the motor car – extraordinary historic machinery alongside the engineering shaping today’s vehicles. McLaren brings those worlds together particularly well.”
McLaren Bahrain general manager Trevor Fletcher emphasised the kingdom’s deep passion for automotive culture: “We are delighted to return to the Royal Bahrain Concours following its successful inaugural edition.
