Representatives from The British Club, Gulf Daily News (GDN) and Northstar Telecom came together at the Umm Al Hassam premises to mark their continuing partnership and the benefits it brings to members.
The partnership combines GDN Media coverage of British Club news and upcoming events with exclusive member benefits from Northstar, including a specially-developed Home Broadband package with complimentary GDN Online access.
Tony Chacko, Operations Director of Northstar Telecom, said: “The Home Broadband offer continues to give British Club members a simple and competitive package. At BD11 to connect and BD11 per month, members receive 300 Mbps fibre, unlimited downloads and complimentary GDN Online access.”
Stanley Szecowka, the GDN’s Editor-in-Chief, said the special deal will allow customers to continue obtaining live local, regional and global news from a reliable source for free once the GDNonline paywall is reintroduced shortly.
“The British Club has been part of Bahrain’s community for generations. The GDN is pleased to continue covering its events and activities and helping keep members and the wider community informed,” he added.
Karina V Mulleaux, Corporate Sales & Marketing Manager at The British Club, said: “Our partnerships with GDN Media and Northstar continue to add value for our members, both through greater visibility of club activities and additional member benefits.”
Also at the launch ceremony of a billboard promoting the services, located near the club’s swimming pool, were Northstar Telecom’s managing director Ian Dench and Business Development Executive Hana Haider, alongside Al Hilal Group’s Marketing Manager Rathul Ramesh.
