Dubai is set to welcome Club 15, a new 15,000-square-metre sports and lifestyle destination in Al Quoz, this October, bringing professional-level sport, training, recovery, wellness, family activities, hospitality and social spaces together under one roof.
Positioned as a
“sports city within the city”, Club 15 aims to extend beyond the traditional
gym experience by creating a destination where people can train, recover,
connect, eat, work and spend time with their families.
The two-level facility
features extensive strength and cardio facilities, Reformer Pilates, HIIT,
boxing, functional training and yoga, alongside a rooftop training area
overlooking Al Quoz.
The destination will
also include seven professional indoor padel courts with 15-metre ceilings,
full-size international-standard basketball courts, and a 25-metre heated
semi-Olympic swimming pool.
Founded by Lebanese
basketball legend Fadi El Khatib, Club 15 takes its name from the number
associated with his professional career and now worn by his sons, who are also
professional players.
El Khatib said the
concept was created from his personal experience as an athlete and his ambition
to build a destination centred on sport, community and future generations.
El Khatib said: “I
didn’t want to build another gym. I wanted to build a home for sport -
somewhere you can train, compete, recover, bring your children, meet people,
have a coffee, and feel you belong to something. Fifteen was never just a
jersey number to me, and now, with my boys carrying it professionally too, I
want it to represent a standard every athlete, every child and every family who
walks through our doors can be part of.”
Recovery is a central
part of the offering, with ice baths and cold-therapy facilities, a
hydrotherapy jacuzzi, infrared sauna and a 250-square-metre physiotherapy
clinic.
The concept is built
around the idea that recovery is an integral part of athletic performance
rather than an additional service.
Club 15 is also
designed for families, with a dedicated Kids Area, parkour, gymnastics and
youth academies allowing different generations to use the facility
simultaneously.
Beyond sport, the
destination will feature premium lounges, a gaming lounge, podcast studio and a
digital platform for bookings, loyalty and events.
The Club 15 ecosystem
will also include Adidas, Red Bull and Joe & The Juice, bringing together
sports performance, energy and food and beverage offerings.
Located in Al Quoz
with access to Al Khail Road, Dubai Hills and Sheikh Zayed Road, Club 15 will
have more than 300 dedicated parking spaces.
Its founders say the concept is intended to eventually expand beyond Dubai, with a focus on athletes, families and communities seeking an integrated sports and lifestyle experience. -TradeArabia News Service
