The inaugural Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition opened its doors today at Exhibition World Bahrain, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the landmark event aims to boost sustainable development, foster high-value investments, and expand the global reach of Gulf-manufactured products.
In his address, Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro expressed pride in Bahrain hosting the inaugural edition, emphasising its role in strengthening joint Gulf co-operation and advancing a unified industrial brand.
"The forum serves as a strategic platform for exchanging expertise, accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, and showcasing the region's competitive industrial capabilities," Mr Fakhro said.
Running as a catalyst for public-private collaboration, the event seeks to increase the industrial sector's contribution to national economies and build a resilient, future-ready GCC manufacturing ecosystem.
