MP Zainab Abdulameer Khalil participated in a meeting of the Standing Committee on United Nations Affairs, as part of the participation of Bahrain’s Parliamentary Division in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), held in Arusha, Tanzania.
She affirmed that, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister,
Bahrain considers dialogue, diplomacy and respect for international law fundamental pillars for promoting security and stability.
She emphasised that resolving disputes through peaceful means remains the most sustainable approach to protecting peoples and nations from the humanitarian, political and economic repercussions of conflicts.
