19-year-old feline Larry, the Chief Mouser to the British government, has returned to 10 Downing Street, after undergoing minor surgery.
The prime minister's office announced yesterday that Larry had a cyst successfully removed by veterinarians.
The Downing Street account posted on X: “Our Chief Mouser Larry is back at Downing Street following a minor operation, and is recovering well. He is feline much better but taking things one paw at a time. We are grateful to the vets for their outstanding care.”
