BBK successfully concluded its participation as Diamond Sponsor of FinTech Forward 2026, reaffirming its commitment to advancing financial innovation and supporting Bahrain’s position as a regional financial services hub.
Held on October 7 and 8 at Exhibition World Bahrain, the forum was hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, with support from the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and Bahrain FinTech Bay.
Its programme, curated by Forbes Middle East, brought together financial sector leaders, policymakers, innovators and investors to explore the future of finance and opportunities for collaboration.
A key highlight of BBK’s participation was the signing of eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs), reflecting the bank’s focus on strengthening strategic partnerships, exploring emerging technologies and accelerating innovation across financial services. The agreements marked an important outcome of the two-day forum and reinforced BBK’s approach to collaboration as a driver of long-term growth.
Through its presence at the forum, BBK engaged with industry stakeholders, exchanged perspectives on developments shaping the banking sector and highlighted its continued role in supporting Bahrain’s evolving financial ecosystem.
The successful conclusion of its participation underscored the bank’s commitment to translating industry collaboration into meaningful progress for customers, businesses and the wider economy.
