His Majesty King Hamad received a cable of thanks from United States President Donald Trump in response to his cable of congratulations on the 250th anniversary of the Adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
President Trump thanked the King for his sentiments and for the kingdom joining in celebrating this national occasion, which celebrates long-standing values and principles.
President Trump emphasised the importance of continued co-ordination and co-operation to serve the mutual interests of the two countries, expressing hope to further strengthen the strategic partnership and continue working together towards a more secure, prosperous and peaceful future.
