The Cabinet has strongly condemned the persistent, criminal terrorist attacks launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia.
It described the attacks as a criminal act and a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law as well as the UN Charter.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
The Cabinet extended its sincere condolences to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Sudan, the United States and Bangladesh, following the death of their nationals in the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
The Cabinet then welcomed the announcement from the US Department of State that the kingdom had maintained its Tier 1 Status in its annual Trafficking in Persons Report for the ninth consecutive year.
The session affirmed that this achievement reflects Bahrain’s commitment to safeguarding rights and upholding the values of justice, guided by the vision of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of HRH Prince Salman.
The Cabinet expressed its appreciation to the Interior Ministry and all relevant entities for their efforts and contributions towards achieving this accomplishment and directed them to continue working to consolidate the kingdom’s leading position in this field.
