A 38-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than BD9,000 from a house in Hamad Town.
The Northern Governorate Police Directorate launched an immediate investigation, which led to the suspect's identification and arrest after a report, the Interior Ministry said.
Officers recovered the full stolen sum in the suspect's possession during the arrest operation.
Legal proceedings have been completed to refer the case to the Public Prosecution for further action.
