Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro yesterday inaugurated WestPoint’s new expansion in Bahrain, which includes a new factory producing fibre fillings used in bedding, pillows and filled products.
Mr Fakhro affirmed that the expansion of international industrial investments in Bahrain reflects the kingdom’s competitive advantages and attractive investment environment.
This aligns with the objectives of the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022-2026), which aims to develop manufacturing, increase the industrial sector’s contribution to GDP, improve supply chain efficiency and boost exports to regional and international markets.
