Four people were injured and 15 homes sustained limited damage in Riyadh after debris from two intercepted missiles fell on the Saudi capital, the state news agency SPA reported this morning, citing the Civil Defence spokesperson.
The missiles were launched by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi group and were intercepted and destroyed, the spokesperson said, adding the injured included two women, a man and a child.
Meanwhile, an energy ministry official was quoted by SPA as saying that an administrative building belonging to oil giant Saudi Aramco in the eastern city of Dhahran was targeted, causing a limited fire.
Authorities responded to the incident and took necessary measures, the ministry said in a statement, adding that no injuries or deaths were reported.
