Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani affirmed Bahrain’s commitment, through the Foreign Ministry and its diplomatic and consular missions, to continuing to fulfil its national and civilisational mission of protecting the country’s supreme interests and strengthening its regional and international standing as an active partner in supporting joint Gulf and Arab action.
He stressed Bahrain’s commitment to consolidating security, peace and sustainable development, guided by the wise diplomatic approach of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr Al Zayani made the remarks during a meeting via video conference with the Foreign Ministry staff, which was attended by heads and members of the kingdom’s diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
The Foreign Minister highlighted Bahrain’s appreciation for the solidarity shown by Gulf, Arab and international countries in support of its security and stability. He reiterated the kingdom’s full solidarity and support to Saudi Arabia in all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability against the terrorist attacks carried out by Iran-backed Houthi militia.
