A Bahrain Bourse delegation, led by chairman Yusef Al Yusef and chief executive officer Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, visited the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in Bangkok on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank Group Annual Meetings.
Meeting with SET president Asadej Kongsiri, the officials explored avenues to foster capital market connectivity between the Gulf and Southeast Asia, facilitate cross-border investment flows, and share market expertise.
Shaikh Khalifa noted that the engagement supports the bourse’s Capital Market Development Plan 2026-2028 ‘Elevate’ by strengthening international partnerships and global financial integration.
