China's Unitree Robotics has gained widespread online attention after introducing its new humanoid robot, the H2-X.
The company has named the humanoid robot the 'Kung Fu Legend Guardian'.
In a promotional video, Unitree claims the robot can operate for approximately eight hours while standing.
The video displays scenes showing the robot performing somersaults, kicking in a car door, and confronting a knife-wielding intruder.
It also demonstrates the machine lifting a car off a person and jumping to rescue an individual from an oncoming vehicle.
Unitree has not stated whether the robot will be capable of performing any of these tasks autonomously.
The promotional video concludes with the company warning against dangerous modifications and unauthorised uses.
