Cristiano Ronaldo has won the B.O.A.T. (Best of All Time) award, recognising his 2008 Ballon d'Or triumph as the greatest edition in the award's history.
The Portuguese forward was selected by readers of France Football through an online vote in recognition of his achievements during the 2008 season while playing for Manchester United.
The accolade was the first of Ronaldo's five Ballon d'Or awards.
He went on to win the prestigious individual honour in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 during his time at Real Madrid.
